Produced by the same folks who produce Ugly Betty and The Office, and sponsored by MSN and Toyota, this big-time venture follows Andrew’s travels across the U.S.The show recently came to Eugene to experience Pfeiffer Winery, a boutique winery in the south Willamette Valley. Owners Robin and Danuta Pfeiffer produce only 1,200 cases annually and with such a limited production, the wines are not sold in stores of restaurants and can only be purchased directly through the winery or their website.Pfeiffer Winery’s reputation has sky-rocketed ever since their 2007 Pinot Noir was served to President Obama at a pre-inaugural dinner this past January. And, PfeifferWinery is the only solar-powered winery in the south Willamette Valley, one of five in the state be powered by the sun.The show will be offered online through the summer, and with 7,000 Internet hits a second on MSN, the Pfeiffer’s are holding their breath. “This is very exciting,” Danuta says, “We have no idea what to expect.”“Maybe now we could take a vacation,” Robin says with a grin. The show can be seen at http://appetiteforlife.msn.com/#/viewlocation/c_4, or http://appetiteforlife.msn.com
